Focus and Scope

IDEALIS Journal is a national peer-reviewed journal published in either Indonesian or English and managed by the Faculty of Information Technology, Budi Luhur University.

The journal publishes original research articles in the field of Computer Science, with a particular emphasis on fundamental and applied research in Information Systems (IS). The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

1. Decision Support Systems
2. E-Commerce and E-Business
3. Enterprise Systems
4. Data Mining
5. Multimedia, Graphics, and Computer Networking
6. Accounting Information Systems
7. Business Intelligence

The journal also welcomes other original research contributions that fall within the broader domains of Computer Science and Information Systems.

Publication Policy

Starting from the July 2026 issue, IDEALIS Journal only accepts original research articles that present the implementation, development, evaluation, validation, or application of methods, models, algorithms, systems, technologies, or empirical studies within the journal's scope.

The journal does not accept review-based manuscripts, including but not limited to Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR), Literature Reviews, Narrative Reviews, Scoping Reviews, Mapping Studies, Bibliometric Reviews, and other review-oriented articles.
